Everyday budgeting and spending.
Everything in Core, plus financial planning.
Everything in Advanced, together.
Every plan includes a 14-day free trial. Credit card required. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid a charge. Taxes extra. Compare all Finnomia plan features.
Simplifi should not be dismissed as US-only: its own support documentation explicitly lists Canadian bank connections and Canadian dollars. It also says it supports one currency at a time and warns about mixed-currency balances. That distinction matters more than an outdated availability claim.
Finnomia’s case is Canadian depth: Flinks alongside Plaid, subscriptions billed in CAD, contribution-room tools and CPP/OAS retirement scenarios. Simplifi and Quicken Classic are separate products; this page compares the cloud-based Simplifi app, not the Canadian desktop edition.
Finnomia combines Plaid with Flinks, a provider with deep Canadian financial-data expertise and relationships with Canadian institutions. Flinks gives us a connection option built around Canadian banking alongside Plaid’s broader network.
Support varies by institution and account type. Check our connection status page and try your accounts during the trial. Manual accounts and CSV imports are available on every plan.
Review transactions, correct categories, split purchases and create rules that reduce repeat work. On Family, you can assign transaction reviews to household members and keep individual transaction details private while sharing balances and spending totals.
Advanced and Family bring investments, net worth, debt payoff and cash-flow forecasts together with Canadian retirement planning. Explore CPP and OAS timing, future contributions and retirement income in today’s or future dollars. These are planning estimates, not guaranteed outcomes.
Retain your Simplifi transaction export and use Finnomia’s CSV importer for a small test first. Recreate Spending Plan settings and goals deliberately. There is no dedicated Simplifi migration wizard in Finnomia.
Built for Canadian financial life
Flinks adds Canadian financial-data expertise to our Plaid connectivity, giving us another route to support Canadian institutions and resolve connection issues. Check your institution and account type on our connection status page.
Track TFSA, RRSP, FHSA and RESP contribution room alongside investments and net worth on Advanced and Family.
Model retirement income and compare CPP and OAS claiming assumptions as part of a broader drawdown plan.
Know what your subscription costs without converting a US-dollar list price or paying a foreign-currency card fee.
The Family plan supports up to five members with shared household budgets and a combined household view.
Five percent of Finnomia’s profits support Canadian charities advancing financial and economic literacy.
